An angel came

Slowly, softly touching the sky
Glancing against the sea
An angel came
In a dream dreamt long ago,
In unraveled care…

As a lost voice, traveling
From the ages,
Imbuing the colour,
And then
Full of forgiveness
Slow speak…
Wanting the world
To listen to long lost songs
Sung from long lost tongues
Slow the voice floating
Transient…
Yet insistent with its tune
And the angel came
With forgiveness extend
To guide our paths where
No mortal may’st yet
Step.

And then I saw the light
That shone through the
Angel wings…
Spread over the sky,
Crimson ting’d
With highlights of yellow…

Hush

Safe I felt,
When I looked beside me
And found the world standing
Looking on
With infinite grace and
Tenderness
And I know…
Everything will come around

Then I sense a voice…
It is everywhere
And nowhere
Washing o’er me
Like a tender yet warm
Breathe
And then I know that
The world has still hope
In me…

But then, suddenly a dark shadow…
Of pain and things said unsaid
And lies that were unneeded said
And enemies that were formed
By no sense

But hush…
The grand voice…
Whispered in all its greatness.
The wounds created slow
Recede….

And then I saw the light
